Message From Arizona State Treasurer
Happy New Year Biltmore Area Partnership Members!
I hope you had a safe and happy holiday season and are ready for the new year! I am honored to
continue serving as your Arizona State Treasurer and working to promote financial education to
Arizona’s youth.
Did you know that reports indicate a child’s saving and spending habits are established at an early
age? In the new year, I wanted to share seven practical tips to help parents, grandparents and
caregivers teach children how to save and realize goals for the future.
7 Tips to Become Savers:
Walk the Talk: Talk about what you are saving for and what sacrifices you make for retirement,
vacations, their college, etc. and demonstrate that – take them with you to the bank when you make
a deposit or show them how you do it on your phone or laptop for online banking.
Match It: Reward good savings habits by matching savings and further encouraging kids to delay
gratification by saving for what they really want.
Make it Fun: Turn conversations about saving and college into games and crafts to keep it hands-
on. Painting your own piggy bank would be the perfect time to talk about dream jobs and how to
prepare and save to get there.
Jump Start College/Career Savings: Give children a boost with saving for their future education by
setting-up a tax-deductible AZ529 Education Savings Plan. Contributions from parents,
grandparents, relatives and family friends provide a jump-start for their littlest loved ones and
inspires them to contribute as well. For more information, please visit www.az529.gov.
Hands On Saving: Provide an allowance with rules attached for saving and spending, but make
sure they earn the allowance – don’t just give them money without working for it.
Let them Fail: Allowing kids/teens to make a few minor financial failures when they are young can
help them avoid major failures as they become adults. Missing a phone payment and losing their
phone for a week would be something a teen won’t soon forget.
Celebrate Success: Track results and share progress with your child to help motivate them in their
studies and savings and know your expectations for their future. Make a chart and when they reach
a milestone, find a way to celebrate that involves spending time together instead of money.

Visit www.az529.gov for more tips to save and inspire children to think
about their future education and dream career in the new year.
As always, if you or your organization require my Office’s assistance,
please do not hesitate to contact us at (602) 542-7800 or
aztreasury.gov/contact.

Sincerely,
Arizona Treasurer Kimberly Yee
Message from Councilman Kevin Robinson

Goodbye 2023, Hello 2024
2024 is upon us, and my office is excited to build on the successes of this year. With our primary
focus being constituent services, my team and I have handled hundreds of resident concerns at a
speed that I think most would find reflects the commitment we have promised. District 6, which
encompasses Ahwatukee, Arcadia, Biltmore, and North Central Phoenix is home to great residents,
as well as many features worth highlighting. My team and I have taken the time to visit some
exciting places in our District, such as the Desert Botanical Garden and Tovrea Castle, as well as
businesses making a difference like Hospice of the Valley.
One thing I would love going forward is recommendations from our residents, as to which
businesses or other gems of District 6 need to be highlighted. We are always looking for new places
to visit with my show “On Location with Councilman Robinson”, on Phoenix 11. The more that we
know about the area we live in, the better off we all are. So, as we continue in our commitment to
help District 6 residents, I hope you’ll join us by bringing attention to what we have in our wonderful
community.
Finally, as we move in to 2024, I again want to thank all District 6 residents for making us the heart
of Phoenix. From friendly neighborhoods to wonderful parks and attractions, and of course our
many businesses, I feel so lucky to represent you. I hope this year blesses you all, and please
contact my office if we can be of any help to you.
Thank you,
Kevin

Arizona Biltmore Golf Club
January 2024 BAP
New Clubhouse Construction Update: We’re entering the final four-month stretch of construction of the new
clubhouse as crews are now working on interior details and will soon begin exterior landscaping, parking lot
installation and more. If you’ve ever built a home, you know that this time seemingly takes forever as the
exterior looks nearly complete, while so many interior details remain unfinished. The clubhouse project is on
track for its spring 2024 completion. To learn more about the new clubhouse and to see artist renderings,
please visit the project website at www.yourbiltmoregolf.com.
Food and Beverage Option: With the former Adobe Restaurant now closed and the new clubhouse and
restaurant scheduled to open this spring, the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club will offer guests limited food and
beverage options out of the Hot Dog Stand. We apologize for the inconvenience but look forward to
welcoming guests to the new restaurant in the spring.
New Estates Golf Course: Have you played the new Estates Course? The course continues to mature and
improve since its early November debut. The fun-to-play resort course features new green complexes,
recontoured fairways, new mounding throughout the course, beautiful white sand bunkers, and is a
completely new golf experience from the former Adobe Course. For tee times visit www.AzBiltmoreGC.com.

Membership Sales Reopened: With the Estates Course open and the new clubhouse opening in 2024,
membership sales have reopened at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. Memberships are available for
individuals, families and corporations. For more information on the membership options available, contact
Steffen Koury at (602) 955-9794 or skoury@jdmgolf.com.
No Trespassing: A friendly reminder that the Arizona Biltmore Golf Courses are private property. If you see
this activity, please contact the golf shop, and if it is after hours, please contact the City of Phoenix Police
Department. Use of the golf courses is reserved for members and customers of the Arizona Biltmore Golf
Club. Trespassers, including (but not limited to) walkers, joggers and those walking pets, will be cited. For
your safety, please do not enter the clubhouse construction area. We appreciate your cooperation.
Are You A Rewards Member? Did you know Biltmore Rewards Members automatically save on greens fees
just for signing up? Its free and easy to become a Rewards Member – either download the Arizona Biltmore
Golf Club App and sign-up there or sign-up in the golf shop. Rewards Members earn points for playing and
purchases towards free golf!
Frontline & Public Service Rate: As a small token of our appreciation for all they do for the community and
country, all frontline workers and first responders (doctors, nurses, police, fire, emergency services and
military) will receive $5 Off of their round. Bring up to 3 friends with you at the same rate and enjoy the great
conditions. (Must have valid I.D., good for all current and retired personnel).
